The build engine

Every venture is built by WeaveLines.

WeaveLines Works is the venture-building arm of WeaveLines, a product and engineering firm founded in 2017. The people who build your venture are the people who have shipped products for startups and corporates since then, led by the same founder.

Most venture builders assemble a team for each project, or subcontract the build to a software house. Here the build engine is the founder's own firm: products taken from a first idea to launch since 2017, and founders coached cohort after cohort through the questions every venture meets. That experience is what a new venture inherits.

Under one roof

Product, design and engineering in one team.

01

Product management

Scope, priorities and a plan with a number against it, so what ships first is what the business needs first.

02

Product design

Research, an interactive prototype in days, then the full design, with a designer making every decision.

03

Web and mobile engineering

The platform, the dashboards and the integrations behind them, with the iPhone and Android apps built once rather than twice.

04

AI development

AI features prototyped on your own data, proved before release and watched after it.

05

Quality assurance

Every release checked against what the business needs it to do, on the devices your customers actually use, before they see it.

06

Infrastructure and operations

The venture runs in your own cloud accounts, with releases automated and the product watched from before the first customer arrives.

How we build

Engineering standards on every venture.

  1. 01

Built on what you can hire for

Ventures are built with mainstream, widely used tools rather than anything exotic, so the team that inherits yours can be recruited on the open market and the product is still maintainable years after we leave.

  2. 02

    Review on every change

A second engineer reviews every change before it ships, including work drafted with AI assistance.

  3. 03

    Tested automatically, every time

Tests run against every change and stop anything that fails. Nothing reaches your customers because a person remembered to check it.

  4. 04

    Released without downtime

Every change is proved on a separate copy of the product before it reaches customers, and released without taking the product off the air.

  5. 05

    Security as routine

Access granted only where it is needed, credentials kept out of the product, components kept current, and every venture checked against the industry's standard list of vulnerabilities.

  6. 06

    Performance, measured

The screens your customers use most are given a speed target and measured against it before a release, not after the complaints arrive.

  7. 07

    Monitoring before launch

Error tracking and uptime monitoring are in place before the first customer arrives, so a problem reaches us before it reaches you.

  8. 08

    Documented and handed over

Decisions written down as they are made, running instructions for the product, and a clean handover to the team that will own it.

Working together

How you follow the build.

Work runs in short cycles, each ending with a demonstration of working software rather than a status report. What is planned and what is finished sit on a shared board you can open at any time. Your product owner is inside the team. The people building your venture are the people who answer your questions.

Time zone

Inside the Gulf business day.

Product and engineering are in Tunis, inside the same business day as Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai and Doha. Research is done with buyers in the market. Delivery is in Arabic where the customer needs it.
